 ...I just wanted to say a massive thank you from myself and Hana for our day kayaking. It was brilliant!! Having not been able to kayak properly before, your patience and teaching enabled us both to become really good. To be able to see the Cornish Coastline from the sea was awesome and to be able to see wildlife at such a close range really is the best. To paddle back round and then to be able to surf with the kayaks topped off a most amazing day and experience. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. The whole day is brilliant value for money, lunch was lovely...Im still full now and Im relaxed chilled and cant stop smiling!! Thank you so much for an wonderful day and I cant wait to come back again for some more. ...big thank you for recommending PARAMO for use in Cornwall. Walked the coastpath from Lands End to St Ives in a bitterly cold Northerly wind.  The jacket was nice and light but at the same time brilliant at keeping the wind out. The venting zips were great to cool down when out of the wind in the valleys where the sun was beating down. An excellent jacket for Conwall!

...9 days of wind and rain on the Isle of Rum (Inner Hebrides) gave the Velez smock a good testing, and it worked very well.  Doing Geology field work, we often walk for a few miles, when I wore a base layer and the smock, and then stop in an area for 1 or 2 hours, collecting data and observations.  Due to the wind it got cold when we were not on the move, so I wore a couple of thin fleeces underneath, which kept me warm enough and did not feel restrictive.

It often rained, and the smock coped well, I did not feel any rain get inside.  It may be time for a re-proof as the outer material started to look a little damp in a few areas, but stayed completely dry inside.  It is not too bulky, when the weather was dry and the wind dropped when we were scrambling up the hills, it did not take too much room in my rucksack.  We are frequently lying down on outcrops, making sketches and having a closer look at the rock type, and there are no signs of wearing or scuffing.

...thanks for recommending the PARAMO velez smock, it's just brilliant, plastered in mud mountain biking in Wales; but so warm and dry inside, excellent.

...Hi, I bought a velez smock a few weeks ago, I thought I would let you know how it is going.  I have used it on all my geology fieldtrips, either with just a wicking tshirt underneath, or sometimes a thin fleece as well and have been just the right temperature.  Today we went to Rinsey Cove on a field trip and it rained a lot.  I stayed dry and comfortably warm all day, it is really nice watching the water bead and blow off in the wind.  The pouch on the front is very useful.  The ends of the sleeves got a little damp from stretching up to measure things, but otherwise dry, I am very very pleased with the jacket.
We have a trip up to the Isle of Rum in a month, so will give it a good test up there then, and will let you know how it performs when i get back.

... just wanted to say thanks for recommending PARAMO to me. I use my Velez for just about everything, jogging, cycling, walking and down the pub. Just pop it in the wash with the Nikwax tech wash and its dry in an hour, fantastic!
